The 7th Annual Aspire Leadership Conference is excited to bring to you one of the most learned women of our age-Wakonyo Igeria.

Wakonyo Igeria is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya, a Commissioner of Oaths and Notary Public. She is also a Certified Public Secretary and currently the Company Secretary and the Head of the Legal Services at the Consolidated Bank of Kenya. As one of the two Senior Manager’s from Consolidated Bank working with the Privatization Commission in the on-going Privatization process of the Bank,she is indeed a change agent.

She has also been instrumental in the setting up of a Mentorship program within the Bank in which Head Office Managers are attached to various Branches as Mentors. She remains passionate in working with a cross-section of the young staff across the Bank’s business as a mentor in areas of their careers as well as life skills.

Wakonyo is  the Visionary behind “Grow House Foundation” which is a mentorship program for young adults on their quest to walk into their fullest potential. The mentorship model is based on the Elijah/Elisha relationship from the Book of 2 Kings. Wakonyo is also called upon to give motivational talks by different forums including schools, youth forums, women groups and Church groups.She is in the process of being certified as a Professional Coach through the International Coach Federation through CDI Africa.

She has been interviewed in her various capacities in:-The Standard Woman’s instinct magazineTrue Love Magazine and The Christian Professional-Citizen Television. Wakonyo was one of the 3 finalists in the 2010 Feather Awards Business Icon which awards exemplary Kenyan women.In her leisure time, she enjoys reading and creative writing. She is currently looking at compiling some of her written articles.
